Nkechi (IN-K-chee) “Gods Gift” is a powerful, passionate, and extremely magnetic woman. Nkechi was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. Attended Cannella’s School of hair design and graduated in 1998. Immediately after graduating with no hesitation landed a booth at Vibe Hair salon, which became her own salon in 2007 Studio 59 Hair salon. Nkechi quickly climbed the ladder in becoming one of Chicago’s hottest salon for the next 10yrs. In 2017 Nkechi closed the salon to peruse a dream as a traveling stylist. After traveling back and forth to Atl for a couple years she decided to relocate to Georgia where she landed a job as a hairstylist at KBB Salon. Nkechi specializes in short cuts also known as “Bougiecuts” which has given her the skill level to master all textures and grades of hair.  With 20plus years of experience in this industry she was able to master many different techniques when it pertains to quality hair care.  My area of expertise includes cuts and color but not limited to sew in installations, quick weaves, coloring techniques, and natural hair care. As a well known stylist, she was invited to showcase her hair art at expos across the country and perform platform work with Silhouette Hair and H2pro Ceramic Irons. She’s been featured in Below Zero mag, Illstyles, Sophisticated Black Hair, The Choppedmobb, Mobhair, and All Good hair Chicago. She has personally organized and held hair expos of her own in the Midwest area. With her ambition at an all time high, I am open to growth and all opportunities God has waiting for me.
